Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using MockLadder, operated by Nerddevs Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using MockLadder, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age, or, if you are under 18, that you use the Service with the consent of a parent or guardian, and that you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Description of Service

MockLadder is an online IELTS practice service that provides a free level test and full mock tests for IELTS Academic and General Training — Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking — with estimated band scores and feedback. The Service is available on the web and through our mobile app.

MockLadder is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, or Cambridge University Press & Assessment. "IELTS" is a trademark of its respective owners. Band scores shown by MockLadder, including scores produced with automated (AI) assessment, are estimates for practice only and are not official IELTS results.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service you must register for an account and provide accurate, complete information. You may sign in with email, phone number (one-time code), Google or Apple. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Packs and Payments

The free level test is free. Full mock tests are sold as one-time packs. By buying a pack:

• You agree to pay the price shown at the time of purchase.
• A pack is a one-time purchase; it does not renew and you are not charged again.
• Each pack is valid for the period shown at the time of purchase.
• Card payments are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle, on behalf of Nerddevs Ltd. By paying by card, you also agree to Paddle's Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms). Payments in Bangladesh may also be made with bKash.
• Prices may change; a change does not affect packs already bought.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Share your account, or copy, record, publish, or redistribute mock test content (questions, audio, passages, or answers).
• Use another person's help, tools, or content to answer a mock test in a way that misrepresents your own ability, where the mock asks you to work alone.
• Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service by automated means without our consent.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its mock tests, questions, audio, design, logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Nerddevs Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own personal practice.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, nor reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code, unless permitted by law.

7. Your Content

Your answers, writing and speaking recordings ("Your Content") remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process Your Content, including with automated assessment providers, solely to score it, give you feedback, and provide and improve the Service. 8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, experience occasional downtime, or modify, suspend or discontinue features. If a technical fault on our side ruins a mock test, our Refund Policy applies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We do not guarantee any particular score in an official IELTS test.
• In no event shall Nerddevs Ltd be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, if your use poses a security risk or may harm other users, or if we are required to do so by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bangladesh.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
